These growers are members of the NZ Association. All have NZ Approved Supplier Status, meeting stringent export standards. All are willing to sell direct to Canterbury consumers a portion of their best export quality. They loose money doing this but they want you to know just how good South Island Asparagus growers really are!
All asparagus is freshly picked each day and any gate sales asparagus is "export" quality. The growers mostly use honesty boxes, a nice NZ tradition that still survives in the south. Enjoy!!!
