South Island Asparagus Growers Association

A New Zealand Association of growers since 1980

Home

New Zealand grows the finest asparagus in the world.

The season is short, at its best between Sept and Dec. Because of the cooler climate in the South Island, the asparagus spear takes longer to grow and therefore the flavour is enhanced.
